Dear Staff,

As we approach the Season of Giving, I would like to remind everyone that we have a unique opportunity to help our students by designating a portion of our taxes to the Arizona Tax Credit Program.

Individuals filing can give up to $200 and married couples filing taxes jointly can give up to $400. For our students, who often come from homes with limited income and who participate in the free and reduced lunch program, the Tax Credit Program provides them with meaningful activities and programs that include: before and after school, fine arts, band, clubs, tutoring, sports and academic field trips.

The best part is giving "does not cost you anything" – you are already paying your taxes anyway, so why not show our students how much we “bee-lieve” in them. You can give through payroll deductions, write a check or give online through our online payment system.

Hope you will help spread the word about our Tax Credit Program – a free and easy way to help our 10,000 students!

I am here to serve you. Please let me know if I can be of any assistance.

We are thrilled to announce that through our Toy Drive event, support from Community Partners as well as many amazing staff members and others, all Santa Bee Tags have been claimed and over 350 students will be supported this holiday season with gifts!  As a reminder to those who took a tag, unwrapped gifts must be delivered to the District Office by 4pm on Friday December 8th.

If you are still interested in helping support the 100 families, we are putting together a basket for each family.  We still need more warm blankets, hygiene products, and holiday treats such as hot chocolate, popcorn, Christmas candy, etc. to complete the 100 baskets. These items can also be dropped off at the District office by the 8th.

Monetary donations can be made to the Foundation to go towards the purchase of grocery gift cards for the 100 families.

Be sure to list Toy Drive in the "Activity you are Participating in or would like to support box".

Please contact Kerry or Regina at 623-772-2200 with any questions or concerns.

Cash or checks can be made payable to the Pendergast Community Education Foundation and can be given to your site/department supervisor or principal. Donations to the Foundation can now be made ONLINE >>
