Our Amazing Governing Board

Pendergast Community,

Elections for governing board officers are held during the first board meeting of the New Year. At the January 18, 2022 PESD Governing Board meeting, the Pendergast Governing Board voted Jete White and Senator Martin Quezada school board president and vice-president respectively. Jete White, a high school Algebra teacher, has a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education and a Master’s in Administration and Supervision. In addition to math, he is also certified to teach social studies, English, American government, and holds a principal certificate. Senator Quezada, an attorney, currently serves as a state senator representing Legislative District #29 in Maryvale and Glendale, and has served as a Pendergast board member since 2011. We are grateful to both of these Board members for their ongoing leadership.

To our incredible Pendergast staff, I'd like to briefly express my gratitude to each of you for your exceptional service during this particularly challenging time. I have been incredibly impressed with your energy and focus on service to our students and each other. I'm thankful for all you do.

Regards,

Jen
