BEE in the know headline

8th Grade Superintendent's Student Council

DC Adventure logoDear Staff,

This past week, I've had the priviledge of accompanying the 8th Grade Superintendent's Student Council on a trip to Washington D.C., where they presented at the Leadership Experience and Development Conference. At LEAD, students sharpened their leadership skills and networked with peers from around the country.

A dream doesn't become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work." Quote from Colin Powell

Being in the nation's capital was inspiring! The 8th Grade Council had the opportunity to tour the White House, the United States Capital, the Holocaust Memorial Museum, and the National Mall. We also spent the day at George Washington University, exploring the campus and finding out what it takes to become a student at George Washington.

I am here to serve you. Please let me know if I can be of any assistance.

I BEE-lieve in you!
