Natasha Camp Named Assistant Principal at Sonoran Sky; Kay Hamrick Joins Desert Mirage as Assistant Principal
Natasha Camp will be the Assistant Principal at Sonoran Sky and Kay Hamrick will join Desert Mirage as Assistant Principal for 2008-2009 following approval April 2 by the Pendergast Governing Board.
Camp has served for two years as a Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) as an assistant administrator at Villa de Paz and Sonoran Sky. The position at Sonoran Sky was changed to an Assistant Principal for 2008-2009.
Camp started in the District as a Physical Education teacher at Garden Lakes in 1999 and was a physical science teacher at Garden Lakes from 2001-2006.
She received her undergraduate and master degrees from Northern Arizona University. She will continue to team with Principal Kristine Morris at Sonoran Sky.
Hamrick will join Desert Mirage Principal Susie Torrejos after serving three years as a teacher for fifth and seventh grades at Canyon Breeze. Before coming to the Pendergast District, she spent six years as an Inclusion Facilitator for the Los Angeles Unified School District. She also has classroom teaching experience in Los Angeles and in Cleveland, Ohio.
