and Writing
Have you
ever wondered what it is like to be in other parts of the world? During the third quarter our class will be
working in cooperative groups to research biomes using the Internet and a
variety of reference books. Our goal
is to develop a deeper understanding of each biome and to develop research,
writing and technology skills. As part
of this process, we will identify an environmental concern that affects an
endangered animal in each biome. The
Unit will end with a presentation to younger students incorporating a
PowerPoint to illustrate what we have learned.
