1. Open Publisher and click on web sites:
2. If you have not entered your personal information you should do this before moving on. Click the X in the New Publication pane. Select Edit>Personal Information:
3. Select File>New. Click on Web Site. Find a design that you like:
4. It will be a little small so you may want to adjust the zoom:
5. Edit the Text and change the clip art:
6. To add more pages to your web site select Insert>Page. Select the type of page you would like to add:
7. Edit the text and pictures on your added pages:
Note: Don't post student names on your page. Don't publish pictures of your students on the internet without a photo release. Remember this will be instantly on the internet; be very smart on what you post. If you have any doubts ask.
8. Be sure to save your H-drive so you can make changes down the road.
9. Now it is time to put your page on the internet. It is almost as easy as saving to your H-drive.
Select File>Save as Web Page
10. Select the W-Drive. Be sure it is in your folder.
You must name this file "index.html":
11. You are now online!
