Early Education & Child Care

Pendergast Learning Center PictureThe vision of the Pendergast School District includes the ability to attract and retain highly-qualified teachers and staff. In an effort to do just that, the Early Learning Center (ELC) was created. The ELC provides quality child care/early education and preschool using the Houghton-Mifflin Pre-Kindergarten curriculum and the Handwriting Without Tears program.

The ELC is located on the east side of the Pendergast Learning Center where the classrooms surround a green, plush carpet of grass and an age-appropriate playground.

The Early Learning Center is licensed by the State of Arizona Health Services Department, under license number CDC11776. The program now serves ALL children ages six weeks to five years of age.

Operational hours are 6:30am through 6:00pm consistent with the school calendar.

Breakfast, lunch and snacks are included in the daily rate.

Multi-child discounts and payroll deduction options are offered. Please contact the ELC office for registration information or to take a tour.

The dedicated ELC staff is experienced and well-trained. Their entire focus is to create a nurturing and safe learning environment for the children entrusted to their care. View the ELC Brochure arrow
