Introduction to Classroom Suite
 

This training will help you become more familiar with Intellitools Classroom Suite v4. In addition, completing the competency activity at the end will meet the requirement to 1.5 hours of AT related training for Pupil Services.

Establishing Competency

When you have completed the training series, you should be able to perform the skills listed below. In order to receive credit for this course, you will need to complete the competency activity based on your teaching position listed below. Please make sure you are comfortable with these skills prior to attempting the competency activity. Please contact your AT/IC team if you need any support.

Beginning Level Skills

  1. Launch Classroom Suite
  2. Login to Classroom Suite as a teacher level account
  3. Preview the available templates
  4. Explore the custom options on the available templates
  5. Publish a template to the published folder
  6. Create a new student user
  7. Assigning work to your student
  8. Login to Classroom Suite as student
  9. Complete an Assignment
  10. Reviewing student data
  11. Reviewing student work

Competency Activity

1. Create a Student with your initials (Matthew Press would simply be MP) and assign him to your class

2. Publish one of the templates below. We listed some suggestions by teaching position. When you save the template, save it with your name comp activity (E.G. Matthew Press Competency Activity)

3. Assign the activity created in Step 2 to the student created in step 1

4. Log into classroom suite as the student in Step 1 and complete the assignment from Step 2

5. Log back into classroom suite as yourself and generate a report on the performance from Step 4

6. When the report is visible in Internet Explorer, save it to your H drive.

7. Submit the report to your AT/IC team via email (attachment of generated report)
