Related Service Vacancies:
Identifies students whose ability to function is limited by physical and/or sensory deficits and/or delays, and to provide direct, indirect, or consultative services to enable students benefit from their educational program.
Analyze risk, problem solve effectively and demonstrate a high level of professional judgment when recommending and providing services, making environmental modifications and training staff to manage physical needs at an appropriate level of supervision. Must become CPT/restraint certified.
Provide psychological assistance to students in the District exhibiting a need for such assistance. The School Psychologist will attest to the qualifications of any student placed in program for the handicapped or gifted program in accordance with the conditions and standards for the State of Arizona, P.L. 94-142, Education of the Handicapped Act, and Section 504 of the Civil Rights Code. The School Psychologist will provide consultation and counseling to students, parents, and staff with the aim of facilitating the student learning environment.
