About Mr. Leyba

 

             I have been a teacher here at Desert Horizon since 1991.  I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University. 

        I am married and have two boys.  My wife Stephanie used to teach here at Desert Horizon.  My son Bryan is 16 and attends Centennial High School.  Nathan is 13 and attends Sundance Elementary School.  Besides teaching, I enjoy woodworking, art, sports, and hunting or fishing in our beautiful state of Arizona.

        I enjoy teaching your children and watching them grow into productive adults.  It is wonderful to see former students come back grown up and successful.  Thank you for letting me be a part of your children’s education.
