Dynamics - how loud or soft the music will be.

 

Tempo - the speed of the beat in music.

 

Rhythm - a pattern of long and short sounds and          

                 silences.

 

Melody - a row of pitches that move up down or

                stay the same.

               

Verse - the part of a song where the words change.

 

Refrain - the part of a song where the words stay

                same.

Pitch - how high or low a note sounds.

 

Ostinato - a repeated rhythm or melody pattern.

 

Phrase - a musical sentence.
