Ways To Get Involved at VDP
SET - School Effectiveness Team - SET works throughout the year on planning, designing, and exploring options for Villa de Paz.
It is the philosophy of the district that parent involvement is critical in helping the school, classroom teacher and their children become successful. The School Effectiveness Team - SET provides parents with an opportunity to provide input to the school. The School Effectiveness Team meets on the first Monday each month from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Please consider becoming part of this stellar group. New members are always welcome.
PTSA - Parent Teacher Student Association - The Villa de Paz PTSA goal is to increase family involvement (in education) at home and school, to promote family awareness of issues relating to home and education, and develop a sense of community within Villa de Paz Elementary School. We hope you will consider joining PTSA as a vehicle to show your school support.
Volunteer Opportunities - Parent involvement is encouraged in the educational program at our school. If you have any particular skills or interests to share, the time to spare, or the desire to help young people, please notify the school office.
