Discovering Math Words in daily activities and work has become an important task for students today. This website is dedicated to helping students learn, develop, improve, and display, both, their math knowledge and math strategy skills. This is accomplished through the understanding of math vocabulary and the vocabulary definitions. Students will be learning math words by using them in activities other than just math. Students will be looking for math words in the literature they read, applying math words to symbols they find in art, sports, cooking, and music. Students will be looking for math words to incorporate into sports, cooking, and writing activities. Students will be creating PowerPoint's, brochures, posters, flashcards and a math vocabulary journal booklet. Watch our site as it grows and develops with creative student math activities. |
