FPC Financial Coaching

“My name is Angelo Rossetti and I have the honor of being a member of the Pendergast Community Foundation a member of the Pendergast Communications and Marketing Committee and the owner and founder of FPC Financial Coaching. The Pendergast Community Foundations is an all-volunteer group whose sole focus is to support the mission of the Pendergast Elementary School District. We actively facilitate community activities like the Annual Color Walk, the district Art Show, scholarships for PESD graduates, the Annual Staff Kick-Off and the Speak Up-Stand Up-Save a Life Conference. We raise funds for these activities by seeking grants from the private and non-profit sector and donations from the community. I accepted Dr. DeBlieux’s invitation to join the Foundation Board over five years ago. As each year passes, it never ceases to amaze me how awesome this district is. Each and every one of you…..parent, student, staff member, and community partner …... make this the best school district in the country! As we start the new school year, I want to welcome back all returning students and staff members and extend a warm reception to the new students and staff members who recently joined the Pendergast Family. I have had the privilege of working with many of you in our Foundation’s efforts to support the district including our Color Fun Walk, Jeans Friday Fundraiser, Shark Tank, and Reality Tours to name a few activities.  We do face some new challenges with the pandemic but I am confident that we will all work together to meet the needs of our students, their families, and the community in the Pendergast School District.”

Chartwells - Director of Food Services

“As a representative of Chartwells K12 Management Company, being the food service director at Pendergast for 9 years has been a great experience. I have found this district to be supportive of our student engagement initiatives. We have a true partnership and the students, staff and families have benefitted from the classroom activities and hands-on food and nutrition based student events. Pendergast administration and educational staff support and encourage these events so students can learn about sound nutritional practices that include classroom activities and lessons, extended class projects, cafeteria demonstrations, assemblies and afterschool competitions and contests. These events provide nutritional awareness, and expose students to science, math, and using their artistic abilities that they love. Our student chef competitions give the students a chance to learn how to plan, prepare and execute their vision of healthy eating while having fun. If there is a culinary superstar enrolled in Pendergast, they will have the opportunity to discover their talent. We love Pendergast and encourage everyone to enroll here.”

Skeens & Jarnagin Real Estate Services

“I first learned about Pendergast District as a member of the Glendale Chamber of Commerce where Dr. DeBlieux, the Pendergast superintendent served as the board chair. As a community member, friend of Pendergast and realtor, I joined the Marketing Committee to help plan the first Real Tour and began attending the monthly Community Breakfasts. Attending events and becoming involved opened my eyes to all of the amazing educational opportunities, services and events offered by the district and its 12 schools. I am continuously impressed by the people I have met who put students first.  Come and check out the district, you’ll be amazed and want to be part of the Pendergast family!”
