Hitting a Home Run with STEM Learning!

Exciting news for Pendergast students! Thanks to a generous donation from STEM Sports and Access Insurance Agency of Arizona, LLC, five Pendergast schools have been selected to receive the STEM Baseball Program. Students at Amberlea Elementary, Canyon Breeze Elementary, Desert Horizon Elementary, Sonoran Sky Elementary, and Villa de Paz Elementary will soon have the opportunity to explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through the exciting world of baseball.

The STEM Baseball Program combines hands-on activities, teamwork, and real-world problem-solving to help students discover how STEM concepts are used both on and off the field. Through engaging lessons and interactive challenges, students will explore topics such as physics, data analysis, engineering design, and critical thinking while building collaboration and communication skills.

This innovative program helps bring learning to life by connecting classroom concepts to experiences students can see, touch, and understand. By making STEM education fun, relevant, and accessible, the program encourages curiosity, creativity, and a passion for learning that can inspire future careers in STEM fields.
