Pendergast Elementary School District
Amberlea Elementary, Canyon Breeze Elementary, Copper King Elementary, Desert Horizon Elementary, Garden Lakes Elementary, Pendergast Elementary, Rio Vista Elementary, Villa de Paz Elementary, and Westwind Elementary will be purchasing new books and materials for their libraries. State law requires schools to post a list of all library books and materials on the district's website and the school's website for at least sixty days after the purchase of the items (this does not include replacement books or materials). In addition, state law mandates that schools notify parents on the opening and closing public review period within seven days prior to the opening date. Therefore, this notice provides the opening date of the public review period for newly purchased library books and materials as January 19, 2026 and the closing date as March 20, 2026.
