Responsibility
- Collaborate with principals, school staff, instructional coaches, interventionists and district staff to ensure the successful implementation of school and district Integrated Action Plans to improve student academic achievement
- Provide professional development focused on school improvement science and evidence-based best practice for school leaders, instructional leadership teams and school staff based on individual and group learning needs
- Write school and district grants and support project implementation, monitoring and evaluation
- Coordination, monitoring and assessment of state and federally funded programs, including McKinney Vento and Foster Care services, the Parent and Family Educator Program and Pendergast Community Center programmatic and fiscal operations

- Provide professional development focused on school improvement science for school leaders based on individual and group learning needs
- Support School and District Instructional Leadership Teams
- Implement a Plan-Do-Study-Act cycle focused on Teacher Clarity* to increase student achievement
- Establish and support a Networked Improvement Community to accelerate school improvement in PESD
* Teacher Clarity is about the alignment between the lesson, tasks, assignments, examples, and feedback, communicated in a way that is relevant and understood by all students.
Our Mission
Our mission is to work collaboratively with district and school leaders to support all staff in the school improvement process resulting in student success.
Points of Pride
- Timely and accurate grant reporting and compliance monitoring of federal programs
- Partnership with First Things First which supports the Pendergast Family Resource Center
- Highly effective parent liaisons who support families with children birth to age five and parents of school-aged children, including students experiencing homelessness and students in foster care
- Coordination of summer school and the development of grant-funded programs and community partnerships to provide before and after school opportunities to students
