Hello, I am Marisa Barrio, the proud Principal of Amberlea Elementary School. I have been dedicated to the field of education for more than 20 years, with the past eight years serving in school administration. I have served in different capacities, such as primary teacher, mentor teacher, assistant principal, and now as the proud Principal of Amberlea Elementary School. I strongly value collaboration with staff and parents to support building partnerships, promoting social-emotional learning, and achieving academic excellence for all. 

I am beyond excited about beginning my third year as Principal of this amazing school. It has been a privilege to serve this community, empower learners, and provide students with the proper tools and resources that will help them succeed in their future aspirations. I am extremely proud of all the success that our students, staff, and community have accomplished. I cannot wait to witness all of the great things that we will continue to do this school year and beyond.

I am Brandon C. Valdez, the proud Assistant Principal of Amberlea Elementary. I am proud to begin my third year as Assistant Principal of Amberlea. Prior to serving the Amberlea Community, I proudly served as a middle school math teacher for six years. I am a Phoenix native who is committed to serving the community by searching for solutions and being an advocate for education for all. I take pride in building the leadership skills of our Amberlea students so they are equipped with the necessary skills to make them successful in their future endeavors.
