    Our Mission

    The mission of the Pendergast School District Guidance and Support Services Department is to provide direction and leadership for developing, implementing and monitoring programs that have a positive impact on school culture and climate and on student safety and social and emotional growth.

    Points of Pride

    1. School counselors at every school site follow the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) model.
    2. The Boys Town/Well-Managed Schools education model for teaching life skills is utilized at all school sites.
    3. Positive Behavior Intervention Supports are used as proactive approaches to establishing the behavioral supports and social culture needed for all students to achieve social, emotional and academic success.
    4. Community partnerships are developed and nurtured to support students and families through collaborative efforts.

    Support school administrators to ensure a positive and safe school climate at each school in Pendergast School District.
