PEER
PEER, an acronym for Pendergast Employer Employee Relations, meets throughout the school year to address district-wide issues that impact employees, including salaries and benefits. PEER does not address individual employee concerns, nor is it a decision-making group.
PEER uses an Interest-Based Approach to sharing issues, understanding the interests of all members of our professional learning communities and making recommendations based on consensus for the future of the District and our employees. Looping out to all employees and giving them opportunities for input before final recommendations are sent to the Governing Board is an integral part of the Interest-Based Approach.
The PEER team is comprised of administrative, certified, and support employees. The president of the Pendergast Federation of School Employees selects certified and support employee representatives. The Superintendent selects representatives of the District and sites or departments.
